Schedule Maintenance Outage for REINZ Website

Tonight - Wednesday, 7.30pm

A reminder the REINZ website will be down tonight for all services for under an hour.  Please note, you will not have access to Statistics or Sales & Purchase Agreements during this time.  So that you and your team will not be inconvenienced, you may like to ensure hard copy Sale & Purchase agreements are at hand should they be required.  With thanks for your consideration.

Errata:  What building inspectors can I refer a purchaser to?

The above REAA article in the recent Real Estate Magazine had a small error.   Where it states the “purchaser should also be told that they should specifically ask the inspector they choose to confirm that they are compliant with NZS 4206: Residential Property Inspection and that they have professional indemnity insurance cover.” Should refer rather to NZS 4306: Residential Property Inspection.  The full corrected article may be read here.

Auckland Unitary Plan: Gear Up for Action
The Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan (‘PAUP’) continues to be a hot topic, with both Auckland and the rest of New Zealand eagerly watching progress.  Following the release of the Auckland Unitary Plan in March last year, over 9,000 submissions were lodged.  This article prepared by Nicky McIndoe, Partner and Natalie Amos, Associate Kensington Swan considers where the Council have got to and what submitters need to do in order to prepare for the next stages of the Plan process.  We are also in the process of arranging an updated seminar on this topic – stay tuned for updates
