OCR Unchanged at 3.5 percent

Revaluation 2014 Update
Revaluation 2014 is drawing to a close and notices will be in letterboxes in mid-November. Revaluation is not linked to the total amount of rates collected by the council, but the Capital Value (CV) of a property is used to help work out each property’s share of rates. The CV is based on recent sales. Ahead of notices going out in November, indicative values by suburb will be published in newspapers and on the council website in October. | Reminding you how to apply for AREINZ Membership
An “Associate” member of REINZ is an individual who has achieved Agent Licensee status with the REAA, which requires “3 years experience in real estate agency work within the 10 years preceding the application” and be qualified to hold an Agent’s license. The agent must have been a member of REINZ for at least four years and demonstrated active support of the Institute and its activities.
