What does NZS 4306:2005 refer to?

Because there is no legislation or accreditation process for home inspectors in New Zealand. Standards New Zealand has developed a standard for the inspection of residential property called NZS 4306:2005 Residential Property Inspection. It introduces consistency and reliability into the inspection of residential properties and sets out the minimum requirements for the visual inspection of residential buildings, and for the preparation of the appropriate property inspection reports. A Buyer’s Choice Home Inspectors inspect and report on much more than the minimum standards and it shows in our reports.

Kind regards,
