How much should I pay for a home inspector?

The usual rate for a home inspection in New Zealand is around $500 give or take. There are a lot of inspectors out there that are starting to charge less to remain competitive in the market place and offer stand alone moisture testing and other part inspections. Typically an A Buyer’s Choice Home inspection will cost around $450 - $550. They can be cheaper or more expensive if you have a smaller or larger than average sized property. Please call your local inspector Duane Turner today to receive a firm quote.
