Revaluation 2014 Update Revaluation 2014 is drawing to a close and notices will be in letterboxes in mid-November. Revaluation is not linked to the total amount of rates collected by the council, but the Capital Value (CV) of a property is used to help work out each property’s share of rates. The CV is based on recent sales. Ahead of notices going out in November, indicative values by suburb will be published in newspapers and on the council website in October. Visit aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/revaluation for more information.
