NZD Market Update |
Hi Sarah, Since reaching a high of 0.8635 following the Reserve Bank’s decision to increase interest rates last week the Kiwi is now a cent lower having exchanged at 0.8535 against the U.S dollar. On the 10th of April the NZD peaked at 0.8745, its highest level in over 2 ½ years, but is now trading some 2.5% below this high and looking vulnerable to more downside. With important economic data out of the U.S this week the volatility is set to continue so now could be a good time to review any international money transfer requirements.
